A workshop open to all levels, aimed at people with different experiences within the field of movement, in which we understand alchemy as the art of transformation and apply this idea to our dance: a journey in which the body manifests itself as a landscape in constant metamorphosis, an archive where different realities and different times coexist.
A space where improvisation and guided exercises go hand in hand to awaken our curiosity and connect with our creative impulse. We will seek to reach a receptive state that allows us to open new windows of perception and expression. Imagination and anatomy, centre and expansion, strength and fluidity, play and depth, knowing and not knowing are some of the principles we will invoke together in this encounter.
I propose a continuous movement session in which we will work with the power of concrete images to delve into specific bodily states. We will create space between our bones and joints, isolating different parts of the body and paying attention to its layers and folds in order to expand our physical awareness and articulate a new whole that extends beyond its boundaries.
We will connect with dance as an expanded form of perception and, from this place, open ourselves to dialogue with others: to listen, to affect and be affected, and to feel this here and now, together.
