For the first time in Barcelona, Dance.Film.Performance brings DFP classes to NunArt.
Led by DFP Artistic Director and choreographer Angelina Gorgaeva, the DFP Method is an evolving contemporary dance practice combining contemporary technique, floorwork, guided improvisation, imagery and DFP repertoire.
The class explores weight, momentum, musicality and movement quality, while using improvisation and imagery as practical tools to discover new ways of initiating movement and expanding physical choices. Participants will also work with material from DFP productions, exploring the relationship between set choreography and individual interpretation.
The workshop is designed to develop physical freedom, artistic expression and a more individual movement language.
Open to professional and emerging dancers, dance students and movement artists. All levels are welcome and no previous experience with the DFP Method is required.

Angelina Gorgaeva is a choreographer and creative director, and the founder of Dance.Film.Performance, the London contemporary dance company and creative production agency.
She works across dance film, live performance, new media and fashion, and produces as well as directs. Alongside choreography and creative direction she takes movement direction, artistic direction and producer credits, depending on what a project needs. She trained at London Contemporary Dance School and at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, and she is based in London.
She founded Dance.Film.Performance to make work that belongs on a screen rather than work that documents a stage, and to give that work somewhere to be seen. The company produces its own films and performances, works with brands, and runs the DFP Short Film Festival in London.
