Intensive with Miguel Viero: Pulsing Bodies

Pulsing Bodies

Much of training takes place in controlled contexts.

We repeat structures.
We refine patterns.
We seek efficiency, precision, and stability.

But neither movement nor performance, neither training nor life, unfolds in a predictable way.

The environment changes. The relationship changes. The body changes.

So a question arises:
What kind of body are we developing when conditions are no longer ideal?

Pulsing Bodies is a practical investigation into adaptation, perception, and responsiveness. We explore proposals that integrate coordination, mobility, strength, improvisation, attention, and relationship.

We work between structure and exploration, between technique and play, using repetition not as empty automatism, but as a tool to observe, adjust, and discover new possibilities of bodily organization and movement.

Sessions combine individual and collective dynamics, guided routines, and open spaces of inquiry.

The goal is not to pursue an ideal form of movement, but to develop bodies that are more agile, available, and joyful.

A space for dancers and trainers interested in exploring new ways of learning, practicing, and relating to themselves and to movement.
