TWERK INTENSIVE
An experience of body, writing, and paaaaartyyyyyy!
A Twerk class that’s not just a class.
It’s an invitation to shake your ass to shake the world.
To disrupt structures, inhabit pleasure, and think with the body — with and through the ass.
We’ll combine elements of Twerk as a technique and style,
with tools from somatic practices (Feldenkrais, Eutony),
and writing exercises (from psychoanalysis).
We’re not looking for the perfect shape — your ass already is.
We’re looking for the movement that vibrates in you, gives you volume, shakes you up, makes you feel joy.
✨ WHAT WILL WE DO?
Somatic and writing practices to enter the body
Twerk technique: bouncing, dissociation, musicality, improv
Guided writing from embodied experience
Exploration, improvisation, and a little party!
No previous experience needed.
Just the desire to move your ass and open it up to the experience.
