This is an improvisation, partnering, and contact workshop focused on the study of weight, counterweight, and the mechanics of relationship between bodies.
We propose tools to expand dance in relation to another person, working with weight transfer, points of support, and the organization of the body in shared movement. Through contact, the encounter with the other becomes a driving force, where physical listening activates immediate decision-making.
We will explore different ways of holding, yielding, redirecting, and sharing weight, understanding the body not as an isolated unit but as part of a dynamic system in constant negotiation.
Throughout the workshop, we will combine physical exercises with improvisational scores, allowing technical tools to be progressively integrated into practice. We will investigate different degrees of contact and connection, from the most subtle to the most physical, as well as the variations of rhythm, direction, intensity, and quality that emerge in the dialogue between bodies.

Noé Ferey Delpeyrat and Patricia Hastewell Puig are dancers and creators based in Barcelona.
They develop the duo Les Passants, an award-winning project presented in national and international outdoor dance circuits, and part of the Acieloabierto network in 2024. Alongside this, they teach partnering workshops together in different contexts.
They work together as performers in the project Faula, Cèl·lula 6 by Roser López Espinosa, and previously with Guy Nader & Maria Campos (Set of Sets and Made of Space, Cèl·lula 3).
Individually, Noé collaborates with various creators such as Marc Fernández, Antonio Ruz, Béatrice Massin, and Liz Roche, and develops his own choreographic projects. Patricia combines her work as performer and creator —with pieces such as Inquiets, V, and El ball de les cireres— with teaching, which she has been carrying out since 2018 at both national and international level.
