Intensives

Summer intensive with Roser López Espinosa

This workshop proposes an approach to movement based on an articulated, agile, supple, and creative body. We will use the richness of movement in the spine (spirals, curves, twists, undulations, and combined movements) as a driving force, paying special attention to the functional use of anatomy, points of support, weight transfers, and clarity of direction. We will explore floorwork practices and simple acrobatic elements, partner work, and group mechanics in order to build architectures and contact strategies that unfold from subtlety to shared paths of greater complexity. We will also awaken our imagination and the desire to fabulate through the body, listening, a sense of collaboration, and play.
