My work focuses on the mechanics of the body in relation to the ground, space, and physical contact with other bodies. This training explores the development of a body and a mindset that are flexible, analytical, and active.
The practice flows between floor work, guided improvisation, and partner or group work, drawing on and benefiting from different movement techniques such as release, Flying Low, Contact Improvisation, and improvisation. Together, we will move towards a body that is strong, agile, and light—capable of recycling energy, exploring different movement qualities, and creating.
We will make use of the richness of an articulated body, connecting the centre with the limbs and the ground, while using the gaze as a driving force that connects both with the space around us and our inner awareness, expanding our field of action and three-dimensional movement. We will explore concepts such as weight, grounding, points of support, spirals, off-axis movement, and pathways, among others.
This training encourages a more conscious and precise understanding of our skeletal and muscular structure, inviting us to inhabit a space of trust, freedom, and embodied action.
