In 2025, we have developed a specific residency to support artistic research, understanding that, beyond researching the practice itself, the residents are also interested in developing discursive content that may take textual forms and materialities.
This residency is aimed at people pursuing a master’s degree, doctorate, or practical and discursive projects that place artistic practice at the center to reflect upon and develop materials.
The residency lasts for one year, as research processes typically involve extended durations, diverse temporalities, and varied working dynamics.
The services offered by the program are
• Possibility to participate in all activities organized by nunart during the residency
• Financial support for research
• 1-year residency in the space with specific areas for studio work and others for desk work
• Possibility to access nunart at any time
• Access to the library and offices
• Specific mentoring with Laura Vilar (PhD with an artistic research through dance)
• Promotion of the residency and the work in progress
• Organization of a showcase, event, or public opening of the developed materials
• Audiovisual materials (photo and video) of the events
