What’s new for the 25/26 season?
This season, Projectem works with the formation of a stable group of artists who meet and work regularly from February to April. The project offers the opportunity to immerse oneself in a three-month creative process, aimed at creating and presenting a final stage piece, and is designed to facilitate deep involvement, allowing participants to fully engage in the creation and staging process.
The support throughout the process is essential and is carried out from a process-oriented, feminist perspective, enhancing diversity and artistic singularities. Containing, communicating, empathizing, and guiding in a demanding way are the foundations of the mentorship approach. This creative laboratory is designed to foster an environment of experimentation and artistic growth, where artists can take on different roles and discover new perspectives. Through this approach, Projectem aims not only to create stage works but also to enrich the personal and professional development of participants, providing the practice and support spaces necessary to carry out their future projects.
In February, we will fully immerse ourselves in a three-month creation project dedicated exclusively to the creative process. The work will focus on creations arising from the participants’ desires and interests, based on previously researched and explored material.
One or more collectives or working groups may be formed, where participants will assume different roles—such as direction, performance, dramaturgy, text, lighting, or sound design—with the aim of developing and staging the created proposals.
The project focuses on a specific creative process, with the aim of supporting and completing the proposed pieces. Throughout the process, tools and knowledge will be applied that allow each participant to develop their potential and creativity. There will be space to shape and form teams according to each person’s roles, desires, and interests, ensuring that everyone finds their place and can fully contribute to the creative process.
We start from the idea that there are multiple ways to create and navigate creative processes. Therefore, this proposal is built from a sensitive listening to previous editions, assuming that everything can evolve and transform, while always maintaining the goal of generating a safe space for meeting, reflection, and exploration for creation.
