Sincronies is the set of collaborative, meeting, and listening activities of nunart with other entities and projects. These activities take place both at nunart and in other locations.
Some synchronies are occasional, while others become regular projects, such as collaborations with educational centers in the neighborhood and the city.
The main goal is to create spaces for gathering and exchange, fostering community networking through the social, transformative, cohesive, and creative role of dance.

This project contributes to the development of artistic, cultural, social, and civic competencies for primary and secondary school students.
We carry it out in THREE different formats: a workshop format, a showcase format, and the third is the Dance and Creation Project, which we carry out in collaboration with the Resource Center, the Educational Service of Horta-Guinardó, and the Horta-Guinardó District.
At nunart, we offer a structured proposal, but we work collaboratively with each school, adapting to their needs, availability, and interests. We are flexible in adjusting to the particularities of each group, offering a personalized approach.

1. Workshops format
The ‘workshops’ format offers an immersive experience in dance, structured into a series of sessions for both students and teaching staff. These sessions take place in nunart’s large hall, a spacious and well-equipped area for dancing.
We propose three dance sessions, each linked to a different discipline. In the first, dance is explored in relation to music; in the second, it is connected to visual and plastic arts; and finally, in the third session, dance is integrated with physical education. This creates a cross-disciplinary approach to artistic expression, fostering collaboration and student creativity.
This format promotes the development of artistic skills and provides an enriching learning experience, offering teachers ideas and tools to incorporate body movement into their classes.
Additionally, we offer a specific workshop for teaching staff, designed to be held before or after the student sessions. This training provides practical tools to introduce creative dance in the classroom, facilitating its integration into the school environment.
Structure:
- 3 one-hour sessions per group: dance/music, dance/visual arts, dance/physical education.
- 1 session for teaching staff.
Target Audience:
Teachers and students from 1st to 6th grade.
Objectives:
- Bring dance closer to all audiences.
- Promote research and pedagogical innovation, creating spaces for questioning and transformation.
- Raise awareness of the benefits of dance, its practice, visibility, and creation.
- Strengthen the network of local spaces and projects, ensuring continuity.
- Incorporate gender, diversity, and equity perspectives into daily practices.
- Bridge the gap between artistic creation and society, blurring boundaries between groups, neighborhoods, disciplines, and spaces.

2. Showcase format
This format consists of attending nunart to watch “On a Summer Night”, a contemporary dance piece specially created for young audiences.
This is a 30-minute contemporary dance piece designed for young audiences, performed by a trio of two dancers and a musician. Through the use of light and shadow play, projections, and a blend of rhythms and musicalities created live, the scenography and the performers’ movements transport the audience into a dreamlike and magical state.
The stage material interacts with the pedagogical proposals shared with children during school workshops, establishing a connection between the scenic experience and the previous work done in the classroom. The performance invites the audience on a sensory journey and encourages active participation, allowing them to contribute to the live soundscape.
This piece has been conceived from the perspective and sensitivity of children, making interaction a natural and welcomed element throughout. At the end of the show, a Q&A session with the performers and the director provides a space for dialogue and reflection.
This format can be linked to the workshop format, enhancing the experience with prior practice, or presented independently as a showcase.
